Jordan Brand Gore
Before LeBron James was cocking his arm back for breakaway jams and Aaron Gordon was going underneath his legs over a mascot, there was Michael Jordan who would impress the world with his high-flying slam dunks. The six-time champion has a myriad of in-game and Slam Dunk Contest poster-worthy highlights in his repertoire, and this fall Jordan Brand is immortalizing those moments in the form of a GORE-TEX jacket.
The piece is ornamented with all-over imagery of the Chicago Bulls legend. Some of the notable ones to call out include his famous from-the-free-throw-line 1987 NBA Slam Dunk Contest dunk, a snapshot of him throwing it down in a retro black pinstripe uniform, a photo of him executing a tomahawk jam in “Fire Red” Air Jordan 5s and more. Additionally, the waterproof item is styled with contrasting black panels that form a stripe over the zipper and rectangular blocks across the torso. White GORE-TEX branding is printed near the throat to nod to its weatherproof capabilities.
You can expect Nike and select retailers to launch this as part of Jumpman’s Fall ‘23 collection in the coming weeks.
In case you missed it, Union LA has announced its Air Jordan 1 collaboration With Bephie’s Beauty Supply.
